16 Year Old Lifeguard Helps Save a 3 Year Old Boy

by Kelli Cline on March 8, 2017

This is heartwarming.

In this video, the parents of Zane – now eight years old – tell their story of how CPR not only saved Zane’s life, it also saved him from brain damage:

It all began when Zane was doing swimming lessons at day care.

All was going fine until Zane was found at the bottom of the pool unconscious. It was later discovered he had been under the water for four whole minutes.

Lucky Andrew the lifeguard was on duty.

Andrew acted fast and performed CPR.

And do you want to know something? Andrew the lifeguard was only sixteen years old!

It was a terrifying ordeal

At the time, Zanes parents were unaware of what was happening.

They only found out something was wrong when Zanes Dad got a call from the fire chief, informing him that Zane was in hospital and not breathing.

So you can imagine how terrifying this was for Zanes parents.

But Zane made a full recovery

In any case Zane ended up making a full recovery. And Zanes parents are adamant that if it wasn’t for Andrew, Zane could very well have died, or at least suffered brain damage.

Zane is now eight years old.

He goes to school.

He plays football.

And he even chases girls!

Zane can now live a full life due to CPR.

You too can help others recover with CPR

If a sixteen year old can save someone using CPR, then anybody can.

And even if you don’t save a life, you can still prevent someone from getting something like brain damage.

All you need to do is complete one of my fun and easy CPR courses, which you can do in your own time.

If you already know CPR, then please tells others about the importance of CPR, and share this video with as many of your friends as possible.

Zanes parents are now raising awareness of the importance of CPR, and you can too!

CPR and AED Saves a Basketball Players LIfe

by Kelli Cline on June 3, 2015

A heart attack can happen at anytime.

Just ask Tony Gilyard:

Tony was in the middle of a church basketball game where everything seemed fine. That was, until he suffered a sudden heart attack.

Luckily for Tony, two of the other players reacted fast. They administered CPR and used an AED. And due to this quick reaction they got Tony’s heart going again.

But here is the thing: they had an AED on hand to save Tony’s life. If they didn’t have an AED, Tony would have died.

This is scary when you think about it.

I believe it should be mandatory to have an AED on hand at all times. Whether it’s at a church, sports stadium, workplace, school, or any other place, you never know when one might be needed to save someones life.

You can just ask Tony’s wife, Rita. She was so pleased that Tony’s life was saved (as expected), that she herself is spreading the word about the importance of AED’s.

Would you like to learn how to save a life using an AED?

If you want to be able to save a life, you can take one of my upcoming first aid classes that will teach you CPR and AED. They are convenient, fun and affordable.

If you already do know how to use AED devices, then why don’t you spread the word about the importance of AED’s, just like Tonys wife?

As the video shows, heart attacks do happen, and AED’s do save lives.

Please see my upcoming classes or you can schedule a custom class.
